We work hard here at B&M HQ. And we love felt. So we think it’s ok that occasionally we blog about some of the stuff WE do with our own brand of 100% wool felt. So here goes, *drum roll*…….. Introducing the brand new B&M 100% wool felt Tote Bag!

Bold lines and bolder colours, we LOVE this bag, and use it everyday. It’s the perfect clutch for a quick jaunt to the deli, beach or cinema. The Many Faces of Felt

We always LOVE seeing what people get up to with our felt and Sydney designer Ordees has been busy indeed. His loveable handmade felt iPhone cases are brimming with personality and we love them all! The design is created by taking our own brand of premium industrially produced felt and applying a traditional needle felting method; a process that involves a repeated stabbing motion using a felting needle to tangle the wool fibres and mould and firm the shape. Available now on Etsy, we can’t wait to see what he comes up with next.

Bug & Megs Webstore Now Open

We, the crazy peeps at B&M Felt, have just (finally!) launched the Bug & Megs Retail Range and Webstore. B&M Felt has been providing Australian designers and crafters 100% wool felt for sometime now, and Bug & Megs is our own range of lifestyle products and accessories using our beloved material. All products are designed and handmade right here in Western Australia too. Spotted at Unwrapped Leederville 09: Cubies! Plush cubes in varied designs, sizes and materials (usually felt!), our favourite is the Sharkie Cubie. Bug & Megs Debut at Unwrapped 09

Our very own brand of felt products, Bug & Megs debuted at Leederville Unwrapped on Saturday!  While it was a sticky 40 degree Celsius day, Perth put on a great display of locally made and designed products of all shapes and sizes. ‘Bug & Megs‘ first series offered a range of wine caddies, Christmas Ornaments, tablewear (the city landmark coaster sets sold out!), iPhone cases and passport wallets along with handy take-home sized rolls of our famous 100% wool felt.
